2009 Youth Rules

Does anyone know if the youth rules will be changing for the new cycle and if so how? i.e Time and element restrictions??

For next year not for sure.
I have information the cahges for youth will strat from 2010, because the TC isn´t ready with the youth rules for this moment.

I would not like to agree with you regarding the year of the rules.
The age group code is added recently to the new code of points and you can find it all on WWW.FIG-GYMNASTICS.COM
go there and on the left handside click on rules and then just choose AER code of points and download it.
You can also find all the other rules in there.

Does somebody know why in the new COP in appendix V (Age Group Competition), the age of the competitors National development are 10-12 and in the same time in AG1 they are 12-14…ok…this was and in the previous cycle…but...it’s stupid. Where are finally all competitors who are 12 years old...in National development or in AG1? Where is the logic? I think will be better if the ages of National development are 9-11.

Maybe that is because of the kids who are doing MP's Tr's and GR's. See the thig is that sometimes is is very hard to make a group af all the kids who are 12 years old. Thas why, maybe some kids who arent ready enough to compete in age group1 can still compete with their friends who are 10-11 years old.
Regarding the national development 9-11 idea is not bad, however the people who were prepering the rules (working group mainly involved in FIG Aerobic Academies) might have a better idea why that is 10-12 and 12-14.
I think we will have more answers to all the questions after 20th of January, when the intercontinental judges course will be over and answers answered.
